Yes on Measure JJ— Acted as the general consultant for this successful 2016 ballot measure campaign to strengthen Oakland, CA’s rent control laws. Measure JJ passed with 75% of the vote.

Lift Up Oakland: Yes on Measure FF—Provided general consulting, including television and GOTV services, for this 2014 campaign to raise Oakland’s minimum wage to $12.25 an hour. The measure passed with 81.77% of the vote.

Fair and Affordable Richmond: Yes on Measure L – Served as the general consultant for this rent control measure in Richmond, CA. Guided a local coalition through the signature gathering qualification process and through election day. The measure passed with 63% of the vote.

SEIU 2015 Women Voter Project---Created television ads, a website, and shareable social media content for this statewide effort to encourage low-propensity California women to vote in the 2016 election.

Nevada State Education Association---Provided direct mail, video and online services to inform Nevada voters of the union’s positions. Helped pass Washoe County Question 1, which raised sales taxes to pay for infrastructure improvements to Reno schools.

SEIU Local 1021 – Worked with this union on candidate, ballot measure and issue campaigns focused on addressing the affordability crises in San Francisco, Oakland and the greater East Bay Area. SEIU Local 1021-endorsed candidates and ballot measures have protected renters, established rent control, increased affordable housing and raised the minimum wage.

Telegraph founder Jim Ross also managed Gavin Newsom’s successful campaign for Mayor of San Francisco and Governor Ted Kulongoski’s reelection. He consulted on the successful effort to unseat Senator Gordon Smith (R-OR).
